DICKSON, Tenn. -- Sophomore Gino Parrodi continued to lead all Panthers following the second day of action at the 2010 Ohio Valley Conference golf championship on Tuesday, jumping to a tie for fifth place as the Eastern Illinois men's squad remains in ninth place.

Parrodi shot a 73 for the second straight day to improve from his ninth place finish from the first day of play at the par 72, 6,049 yard meet being held at the Grey Stone Golf Club.

The rest of the EIU contingent included Matt Davis in 28th, Francisco Cherizola in 35th, David Lawrence in 40th, and Kevin Flack in 42nd.

Final day of action at the end-of-season meet concludes on Wednesday morning.

Murray State began to pull away from the rest of the pack to maintain a first place standing, followed by Austin Peay (2nd), Jacksonville State (3rd), Morehead State (4th), Tennessee Tech (5th), and UT Martin (6th), Eastern Kentucky (7th), and Tennessee State (8th), while the Panthers own a team total of 609 for ninth place.
