CHARLESTON, Ill. – Eastern Illinois basketball will hold three individual and one team camp this summer with the first camp set for June 17-19 covering two different age groups.

Due to a change in the coaching staff for the EIU women's basketball team this summer, EIU will offer these camps as a CO-ED camp experience for both boys and girls.  The camp will be instructed by EIU Head Men's Basketball Coach Jay Spoonhour and his staff.

 The 1,000 Shot Camp will be for boys and girls ages 9-17 while the Little Panther Skills Camp will cover boys and girls ages 5-9.  The Elite Camp for individual players (male and female) in grades 9-12 will take place June 23.  The Panthers Team Camp will take place  for boy's teams on June 27-28.  For registration please contact Joe Eichman at 217-581-2511 or jjeichman@eiu.edu    Complete information available in printable brochure above...

Little Panther Camp (Ages 5-9) – June 17-19
Cost: $70
Time: 9 a.m. – Noon daily
Registration: 8:30 – 9 a.m. in Lantz Arena

1,000 Shot Camp (Ages 9-17) – June 17-19
Cost: $150 commuter rate; $185 Resident Rate
Time: 9 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. on Monday & Tuesday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Wednesday
Resident Rate includes all meals; Commuter Rate includes lunch & dinner only
Registration: 8:30 – 10 a.m. in Andrews Hall

Elite Camp (Grade 9-12) – June 23
Cost: $30
Time: 11 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Registration: 9 a.m. in Lantz Arena

Team Camp (Teams Grades 9-12) – June 27-28
Cost: $400 per team ($250 one day fee)
Time: Camp begins at 11 a.m.
Registration: 9 – 11 a.m. in Lantz Arena
