FRESHMAN (2008-09): Pressley played in 32 games, all but the season opener… scored a season-high nine points twice: the Eastern Kentucky game at home and the regular-season finale at Tennessee State… also stepped up big in the showdown game with Murray State at home, recording seven points and seven rebounds… hit big 3-pointers in that game as well as road wins at UT Martin and TSU… made an immediate impact in her first collegiate action, scoring three points in the final four minutes of first half at Illinois… played a season-high 17 minutes in the win against Mississippi Valley State and at Austin Peay… did not miss a shot en route to scoring eight points in the IPFW win, going 3-of-3 from the field and making her lone free throw attempt… made three of her four 3-pointers in OVC play… also went 13-of-17 at the free throw line in league play… played her best in February, making 9-of-16 shots from the field and averaging 3.8 points and 2.9 rebounds per game… OVC Rankings: 10th in blocks.
HIGH SCHOOL: Pressley was a four-year letter-winner for coach Mike Sowers… also lettered four times in track… finished her career as the all-time leading rebounder in Dunbar history and a member of the 1,000-point club… Second Team All-State honoree by the Lexington Herald-Leader and Louisville Courier-Journal as a senior… also garnered All-City Team honors for the Herald-Leader… two-time all-region selection as an upperclassman… Kentucky All-Star… earned All-Tournament Team honors at the 2007 AAU Kentucky High School event, leading her team to the title… Dunbar won back-to-back titles at the 32-team Berea Holiday Classic her upperclassman seasons… in track, ran a leg on 4x100 and 4x200 state champion relay teams… Dunbar won the team Class AAA track titles in 2004 and 2005… Insight KHSAA Academic All-State honors after posting a GPA above 3.5 in consecutive semesters… physical education award… led her Central Kentucky Angels AAU team to three straight state titles from 2003-05… also played for the Central Kentucky Storm, Mystics of Central Kentucky and Louisville Lady Legends.
PERSONAL: No. 1 sports highlight was winning 30 games her senior year of high school… coach Sowers has been a major influence on her sports career because “he showed my what it means to be classy and he taught us the game in a way that set us up for college basketball”… most admires Minnesota Lynx forward Seimone Augustus because “I really enjoy watching her play because of her style.
