EIU (2009-10):  EIU (2009-10): Ended his Panther career by competed in all nine events of the season... finished with a season-best seventh place standings at the fall opener at the Wasiota Winds Fall Kickoff, shooting a one-under-par total, which included a team-best 68 in the third round of play... ended up with five Top 25 finishes....

EIU (2008-09):  Competed in all ten meets... ended season with an 74.5 average, which was the best of his Panther career and led all EIU golfers... earned a season-best second place finish at the Butler Fall Invitational... ended with four Top 25 finishes

EIU (2007-08): Played in every meet to finish with an average of 76.0 off 23 rounds and 1,749 total strokes... an improvement of nearly two strokes from his freshman year... best finish was a seventh place tie at the ISU Weibring Invite... finished in top 25 five times, inluding four straight to end the season.... 

EIU (2006-07): Played in four of nine events with 12 rounds completed...shot 937 strokes with a 78.1 average... low round of the season was 71 at the Tennessee State Invitational... best team finish was third place at TSU Invite.... 

HS: Attended Guilsborough Secondary School in England competing on the golf, soccer and cricket teams... won 2002 high school golf tournament with a tournament low of 69.... 

PERSONAL: ‘Birdy’, ‘Birddog’, or ‘Birdman’ is the son of David & Denise Bird... majoring in psychology... had his first hole-in-one last spring when EIU played down in Florida, “that was pretty special”... enjoys playing darts and pool... currently driving a ‘90 Reliant Regal... names of his dogs are ‘Masie’ (lab) and ‘Archie’ (border terrier)... his favorite quote is “form is temporary... class is permanent”... enjoyed taking Dr. Heller’s sensation and perception class at EIU... counts being the “best dancer ever” as one of his hidden talents....
