EIU CROSS COUNTRY: Limited to participating in just two meets during 2009 cross country with a time of 27:23 in the Illinois Intercollegiate... competed in six of seven events during 2008 cross country season... placed 31st at OVC Championships and 129th at NCAA Regional... top time on the season was 26:30.74 at the EIU Panther Open where he finished in 19th place... one of the top runners for the 2007 cross country team competing in five events... placed 16th at OVC championships for second best EIU finisher spot with a time of 26:08.29... had season best time of 25:45 at the Bradley Classic...
EIU TRACK: Did not compete in track during 2010 season... competed in 2008 indoor and outdoor track seasons... ran 3,000m during indoor season... rank 5,000m and 10,000m during outdoor season including 10,000m at the OVC Outdoor Championships.
High School: Hoklas was an all state cross country runner his senior year, placing 22nd at the IHSA cross country state finals…also finished 38th at the state cross country meet his junior year…was a state qualifier in track and field his last three years of high school…was team captain, and most valuable runner his junior and senior years…earned six varsity letters in cross country and track.
