#Tyler Carter# of men's indoor track and #Mariah King# of women's basketball have been selected as the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Carter competed at the Iowa State Classic over the weekend where he placed first in the long jump with a mark of 24'0.75".  He would also place 9th in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.12.

King helped the Panthers extend their winning streak to five games averaging 21 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.  King had a career high 24 points on Thursday in a win over Morehead State.  She shot 59.3 percent from the floor.
