Eastern Illinois University Athletics

Eastern Illinois is home to 19 NCAA Division I sports.  Facilities are housed on the west side of the EIU campus between 4th Street and Grant Avenue.  EIU competes as a member of the Ohio Valley Conference in 17 sports.  men's and women's swimming compete as members of the Summit League.  

O'Brien Field - home to football, men's and women's outdoor track

Groniger Arena & Lantz Complex - home to men's and women's basketball (Lantz complex also includes competition venues for swimming at Padovan Pool and indoor track at the Lantz Fieldhouse)

Coaches Stadium - home to baseball

Williams Field - home to softball

Lakeside Field - home to men's and women's soccer

Gardella Family Court at McAfee Gym - home to volleyball 

Tom Woodall Panther Trail - home to cross country

Men's and women's golf practice at four local courses including Charleston Country Club, Mattoon Country Club, Meadowview Golf Course and Bent Tree Golf Course.  In addition the teams have an indoor hitting facility with a practice putting service located inside the Lantz Athletic Complex.
