#Zye Boey# of men's indoor track and #Hillary Held# of women's basketball have been named the OVC Student-Athletes of the Week.

Boey was named the OVC Male Athlete of the Championships after he helped lead EIU to a third consecutive conference crown.  Boey won the 60m dash with a time of 6.68 while he just missed the Lantz Fieldhouse record winning the 200m dash in a time of 21.32.  Boey is currently 6th in the nation in the 200m.

Held came off the bench to help the Panthers extend their current winning streak to nine games with victories at Austin Peay and Tennessee State.  The junior averaged 10.5 points per game including a 5-for-5 day from the field on Saturday at TSU.  For the week she shot 80 percent from the field.
