Pat Tortorici of men's outdoor track and Kiley Holtz of softball have been named the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Tortorici placed first in the 400m hurdles at the Louisville Twilight winning with with a time of 52.07. On the season Tortorici is currently 36th in the NCAA West Regional in the 400m hurdles.

Holtz was named to the All-Tournament team as she hit .400 in the OVC Tournament over the weekend. Holtz drove in three runs and collected at least one hit in each game. Holtz ended her season hitting .297 with 30 RBI.
