Zach Borenstein and Nick Priessman of baseball were named the EIU student-athletes of the week as the Panthers wrapped up the 2011 season.

Borenstein hit .357 with six RBI on the week.  During EIU's lone win of the week at Bradley the junior drove home the game winning run in the fifth inning.  On Saturday he drove home four runs as EIU fell shy of advancing to the OVC Tournament.

Priessman served as the Panthers lead off hitter for the week and responded with a .412 batting average.  He came around to score the game winning run against Bradley and twice had multiple hit games during the week.
