Evan Turner from men's soccer and Reynae Hutchinson from volleyball have been named the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Turner posted a 0.45 goals against average for the Panther men's soccer team as he collected his first shut out of the year in 0-0 tie with IUPUI. Turner made seven saves in 200 minutes of action.

Hutchinson helped the Panthers post a 2-1 record in OVC play including a five-set rally to beat SIU Edwardsville. She had 14 kills in each of the Panthers wins and 20 digs in a win over Austin Peay. Hutchinson hit over .300 for the week.
