Kayla Heal from women's rugby and Ryan Child from men's soccer have been named the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Heal helped EIU rally from a halftime deficit at UW Milwaukee scoring 15 points on three trys.  All three of her scoring runs came on runs over 20-yards.  Heal is tied for the team lead with 12 trys this season.

Child knocked home his first goal of the season in the first five minutes of a win over Oral Roberts.  Child's goal helped the Panthers pick up their first Summit League win of the year as EIU won 2-1.
