Erika Ramos from women's cross country and Alison Berens from volleyball have been named the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Ramos set the school record in the 6K distance at the Bradley Classic as she covered the distance in a time of 21:47.28.  Ramos placed 11th overall as the Panthers finished 10th as a team.

Berens helped the Panthers sweep road matches at Jacksonville State and Tennessee Tech.  She hit .483 on Friday night with a career high 15 kills as EIU beat JSU in five games.  For the weekend Berens hit .377 with 25 kills and five block assists.
