Tayron Martin from men's soccer and Jimmy Garoppolo from football have been selected as the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Martin picked up assists on all three Panther goals on Saturday as EIU won a non-conference match at Western Michigan. Martin is now third on the team in assists this season with four.

Garoppolo passed for 294 yards and three touchdowns against UT Martin on Saturday. The three touchdown passes moved Garoppolo into 7th on the EIU career touchdown passes list.
