In the a week of great EIU performances Erika Ramos from women's cross country and David Lawrence from men's golf were named the EIU student-athletes of the week.  This is the second award of the fall for both athletes.

Ramos earned first team All-OVC honors on Saturday as she helped lead the EIU women's cross country team to its first team title since 2001.  Ramos placed fourth overall with a time of 18:18.72.

Lawrence earned his second first place finish at a tournament this fall as he took home individual medalist honors at the SIU Edwardsville Fall Invite.  Lawrence shot even par in all three rounds to win the event by two strokes.
