Jeremy Granger from men's basketball and Erika Ramos from women's cross country were named the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Granger earned OVC Player of the Week honors after scoring a game-high 26 points in the Panthers season opener at Indiana State.  Granger was 10-of-16 from the floor and 5-of-5 from the free throw line.

Ramos posted a top 50 finish at the NCAA Midwest Regional as the Panthers placed 18th as a team in the event.  Ramos was 49th in the race with a 6K time of 22:24.1.  She concluded her season as EIU's top finisher in each of its last three races.
