Olga Livshits from women's swimming and Joey Miller from men's basketball have been named the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Livshits helped the EIU women capture the Tunica Invite team championship over the weekend. She swam on two first place relay teams swimming the anchor leg in both events. As an individual Livshits won the 200 backstroke.

Miller was named OVC Freshman of the Week after helping lead men's basketball to a pair of road wins. He scored a career high 24 points at SIU Edwardsville on 7-of-14 shooting and 8-of-9 from the free throw line. He had 12 points in the win at Houston Baptist.
