Stephanie Maday from softball and Jade Riebold from women's indoor track have been selected as the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Maday picked up a pair of wins in the circle for EIU in the opening weekend of the season.  She tossed a 6-0 shut out against IUPUI and picked up the complete game win over Chattanooga.  Maday had 13 strike outs with 14 innings of work. 

Riebold smashed her own school record in the pole vault at the EIU Friday Night Special.  Riebold cleared 13'6.50" mark as she was runner-up at the event.  That height was nearly five inches better than her previous school record.  The sophomore is currently 18th in the NCAA in the pole vault.
