Stefan Gorol from men's indoor track and Caitlin Napoleoni from women's indoor track have been selected the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Gorol picked up a pair of first place finishes to help the EIU men's team win its fourth straight OVC Indoor Track Championship.  Gorol was first in the 400m dash with a time of 48.69.  He then ran the opening leg on the first place 4x400 relay team that won with a time of 3:15.95.

Napoleoni scored points in two distance events for EIU helping the Panther women win their fourth straight OVC Indoor Track Championship.  Napoleoni was second in the 5K with a time of 17:43.34 which ranks second on the EIU career list.  She was fifth in the 3K at 10:13.42 posting the eighth best time in EIU history.
