Emily Quinones from women's track and Merritt Whitley from women's tennis have been selected as the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Quinones had a pair of first place finishes at the EIU ICE Dual over the weekend.  Quinones won the 100m dash.  She also ran the anchor leg of the 4x400 relay team coming from behind to help secure the first place finish.

Whitley posted a 3-0 record in singles play and 3-0 record in doubles play at the women's tennis team posted a 2-1 team record for the week.  Whitley played at number singles during all three matches and as part of the number one doubles team.
