Stephanie Maday from softball and David Lawrence from men's golf have been selected as the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Maday helped the Panthers win five straight Ohio Valley Conference games during the week.  She appeared in four games in the circle posting a 2-0 record, along with her first career save.  In 21 innings of work she allowed three earned runs while striking out 14 batters.  She currently owns the second-best individual ERA in the OVC.

Lawrence helped the Panther men's golf team place 9th in a 22 team field at the Arkansas State Tournament.  He fired a two-under par total score to finish in 11th place among 120 golfers entered in the tournament.
