Jade Riebold from women's track and David Lawrence from men's golf have been named the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Riebold had a pair of first place finishes in the pole vault during the week.  She won the EIU Tweener with a school and stadium record vault of 14'1.75".  That mark made her a provisional qualifier for the US Olympic Trials.  Over the weekend she placed first in the pole vault at the Drake Relays.

Lawrence placed second in the OVC Men's Golf Championships last week in Tennessee.  Lawrence fired a final round round 69 to finish three strokes under par for the event.  He was named to the All-Tournament team.
