Ryan Dineen from baseball and Emily Quinones from women's track have been selected as the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Dineen helped the Panthers win their third straight OVC series and clinch a spot in the OVC Tournament. The shortstop hit .643 for the week with six runs scored and four runs driven in. He was 9-of-14 at the plate collecting multiple hits in three games this week.

Quinones picked up a first and second place finish at the Louisville Twilight meet on Friday. She won the 100m dash with a time of 12.29. She later ran the opening leg on the 4x400 relay team that placed second with a time of 3:51.12.
