Kristin Germann from women’s soccer and Stephanie Wallace from volleyball have been named the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Germann accounted for all three of EIU’s goals on Sunday as the Panthers beat Cleveland State 3-2 at Lakeside Field.  The hat trick by the senior forward gave her 17 goals for career moving her into a tie for 8th on the Panthers career goals scored list.

Wallace was named to the All-Tournament team at the DePaul Invitational as EIU opened the season with a 2-1 record.  The freshman libero finished the tournament with 47 digs including 25 in the season opening win over host DePaul.
