Olivia Klaus from women's cross country and Reynae Hutchinson from volleyball have been selected the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Klaus led the Panthers to a strong finish at the season opening Walt Crawford Open on EIU's campus. The senior was EIU's top finisher in fourth place with a 5K time of 18:16.61.

Hutchinson was named to the All-Tournament team at Marquette after leading the Panthers with 14 kills and 10 digs in a win over Wake Forest. For the weekend Hutchinson had 29 kills and 19 digs.
