Cameron Berra from football and Bryce Basting from men's cross country have been selected as the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Berra was the OVC Special Teams Player of the Week after knocking home all three field goal attempts and six point-after-attempts at Illinois State.  Berra made a career long 44-yard field goal to end the first half and sent the game to overtime with a 20-yard kick.

Basting led the Panthers men's squad to a solid team finish at the Illinois Intercollegiate meet.  Basting placed seventh overall and fourth among University Division runners on the 8K course.  His time of 24:44 ranks as the 20th best time in EIU history at that distance.
