Erik Lora from football and Tayron Martin from men's soccer have been selected as the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Lora was the National co-Offensive Player of the Week as well as the OVC Offensive Player of the Week following his efforts in the win over Murray State. Lora set a school and OVC record with 21 receptions for a school record 269 yards. His biggest play was a two-point conversion pass to Von Wise to win the game in overtime.

Martin scored both of EIU's goals early in the week as the Panthers shut out Loyola-Chicago. Martin scored in the sixth minute of the contest converting a free ball past the keeper. He tacked on an insurance goal in the 65th minute.
