Abby Saalfrank from volleyball and Ashley Streid of women's soccer have been selected the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Saalfrank helped lead the Panthers to their first OVC win of the season with a triple-double on Saturday against Eastern Kentucky. She had 15 kills, 15 assists and 11 digs. On Friday night in a 5-set loss to Morehead State she had a season high 17 kills.

Streid knocked home the game winner as EIU beat Southeast Missouri in overtime on Sunday afternoon. In addition to the game winning goal, Streid assisted on one of the Panthers other goals during the 3-2 victory.
