Sherman Blanford from men's basketball and Cody Boarman from men's indoor track have been selected the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Blanford helped the Panthers pick up their first OVC win of the season with a double-double at Austin Peay on Saturday.  For the week he averaged 15 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals per game. 

Boarman picked up three first place finishes for the Panthers at the EIU John Craft Invite over the weekend.  Boarman won the 200m and 400m race while running the opening leg on the first place 4x400 relay team.
