Jade Riebold of women's track and Hanna Mennega of softball have been selected as the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Riebold won the pole vault at the OVC Indoor Track Championships on Saturday breaking her own school and conference record in the event.  She had a vault of 14' which currently ranks 7th in the NCAA.  Riebold was named the OVC Female Field Athlete of the Year.

Mennega pitched the Panthers to a runner-up finish at the Louisville Cardinal Tournament posting a 2-1 record.  Her lone loss was to host No. 18 Louisville.  She had 24 strike outs and only walks while holding opposing batters to just .157 hitting.
