Jade Riebold from women's indoor track and Mick Viken from men's indoor track have been selected as the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Riebold was the national runner-up at the NCAA National Championships in the pole vault finishing second based on number of attempts.  The junior scored 8 points for EIU to place the team 25th.  She cleared 14'7.25".

Viken placed 8th in the pole vault at the NCAA National Championships as he scored one point for EIU.  Viken cleared 17'8.50" as his point placed EIU 54th as a team.

Both athletes should be named first team All-Americans later this week based on their finishes at the NCAA Championships.
