Hannah Cole from softball and Lauren Williams from women's golf have been named the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Cole helped power the Panthers offense at the plate last week during their tournament games in Florida and OVC opening sweep at APSU.  Cole had three home runs with 12 RBI and a .962 slugging percentage.  She is currently on a 9-game hitting streak.

Williams was a steady performer for the women's golf team during two season opening tournaments in Florida.  She placed 7th at the Butler Benbow Tournament to open the week.  She was 13th to close the week as EIU placed 3rd as a team at the Butler Florida Tournament.
