Mick Viken from men's track and Bailey O'Dell from from softball have been named the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Viken won the pole vault at the Drake Relays on Friday as he cleared 17'4.50". It was a season best height for the junior as he now ranks 35th in the nation this season.

O'Dell helped EIU post a 3-1 record on the diamond last week hitting a team best .615 in four games. The sophomore drove in four runs and three multiple hit games for the week.
