Pole vaulters Jade Riebold and Mick Viken have been named the EIU student-athletes of the week in the final installment for the 2012-13 school year.

Riebold placed 3rd at the NCAA National Championships in the pole vault clearing a personal best height of 14'5.25".  She was one of three athletes to clear that height as she posted her second podium finish of the year.  Riebold was the national runner-up in the indoor pole vault.  Riebold's point total gave EIU a 39th place finish in the NCAA Championships.

Viken matched his career best height of 17'8.50" as he placed 12th at the NCAA Championships.  Viken was one of eight athletes tied for that height and finished 12th based on number of attempts.
