Erik Lora and Adam Drake from football were named the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Lora and Drake were part of EIU's record setting day on offense that set a school record with 739 yards of total offense led by quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo's seven touchdown passes.

Lora was on the receiving end of three of those touchdown tosses as he caught 10 passes for 186 yards including a 63-yard touchdown reception. During the game Lora became the Ohio Valley Conference career leader in pass receptions as he now has 240.

Drake had another big day hauling in passes as he finished with a team-high 11 receptions and a career high 176 yards. It was the second straight week the junior receiver caught two touchdown passes.
