Reggie Smith from men's basketball and Shepard Little from football have been named the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Smith scored 23 points in his lone game of the week helping lead the Panthers to a 20-point road win at Illinois-Chicago. The Chicago native added six assists while hitting 3-of-5 from 3-point range.

Little posted the fifth best single game rushing total in school history with 245 yards. He scored two rushing touchdowns, caught one touchdown and threw a touchdown pass all in the first quarter as EIU jumped out to a 35-0 lead.
