Sabina Oroszova from women's basketball and Shepard Little from football have been named the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Oroszova tied a pair of EIU program records as she led EIU to a win over Bradley.  The junior forward scored 38 points and made 16 field goals to tie those two school game records.  During the game she moved into fifth place on the career blocks list.

Little helped EIU advance to the FCS playoff quarterfinal round for the first time since 1989.  He rushed for an EIU playoff record 184 yards and two touchdowns.  His 80 yard score in the fourth quarter as the seventh longest run in school history.
