Jalisa Paramore from women's track and Hannah Cole from softball have been named the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Paramore posted a pair of first place finishes at the WKU Hilltopper Relays on Saturday. She won the long jump with a mark of 20'3.75" which ranks as the second best mark in school history. She won the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.79.

Cole hit .500 for the week as the Panthers extended their current winning streak to seven games. During the Saturday sweep of UT Martin she drove in both runs as EIU won 1-0 in both contests. She also scored a pair of runs in a mid-week win at Southern Illinois.
