Peter Geraghty from men's track and Jennette Isaac from softball have been named the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Geraghty won the pole vault event at the SIUE Gateway Invite over the weekend. The senior cleared 18'0.5" as he tied the school record set earlier this year by teammate Mick Viken. Geraghty currently ranks in fifth in the nation in the pole vault.

Isaac helped set the table as the Panthers leadoff hitter as EIU extended its current win streak to 11 games. Isaac hit .400 during four OVC wins this weekend scoring a pair of runs. She leads the team in hitting with a .356 average and a team-high 10 stolen bases.
