Dhiaa Dean from women's track and Cameron Berra from baseball have been named the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Dean placed first in the 800m competing at the Illinois College True Blue meet. Dean's winning time was 2:10.41 which ranks as the sixth best time in school history.

Berra helped the Panthers win a weekend OVC series over Belmont hitting .545 during the three games. Berra scored three runs while driving in four.
