Mick Viken and Peter Geraghty both from men's track have been named the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Both athletes advanced to the NCAA National Outdoor Track Championships which will take place in Eugene, Ore., on June 11. Viken and Geraghty both cleared 17'7" at the NCAA West Regional in Fayetteville, Ark., last weekend and are tied for first in the pole vault heading to the championships.
