Cornell Johnston from men's basketball and Arnisha Thomas from women's basketball have been named the Back To Health EIU student-athletes of the week.

Johnston helped the Panthers post back-to-back road wins at Indiana State and Cleveland State.  He scored 11 points, all in the second half, at ISU including a lay-up with 23 seconds that helped clinch the game.  At CSU he had seven points and three assists as EIU turned the ball over only seven times in the game.

Thomas was named to the Arizona State All-Tournament team as she averaged 18.5 points per game during the two contests.  She had 14 points against Northwestern and a career high 23 against Lehigh.  She shot 64 percent from the field and pulled down 11 rebounds.
