Chris Olivier from men's basketball and Sabina Oroszova from women's basketball have been named the Back To Health EIU student-athletes of the week.

Olivier averaged 21 points and 8 rebounds per game as the Panthers opened the OVC season at 2-0 for the first time since the 1997-98 season.  Olivier had a career 22 points against Tennessee Tech.  He posted his third career double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds against Jacksonville State.  He was named the OVC Player of the Week and College Sports Madness Mid-Major Player of the Week.

Oroszova hit perhaps the biggest shot of her career as she sank a 3-pointer at the buzzer to beat Jacksonville State.  The win gave EIU a 2-0 start to the OVC season.  The senior averaged 14.5 points per game for the week and nine rebounds per game.  She leads the OVC in rebounding and ranks sixth in scoring.  Oroszova recently became the 22nd player in school history to score 1,000 points and just the fourth player to pull down 800 rebounds.
