Bailey O'Dell from softball and Cornell Johnston from men's basketball have been named the Back To Health EIU student-athletes of the week.

O'Dell led the Panthers during their weekend trip to Georgia hitting .467 during four games. She had seven hits for the weekend with three home runs, six RBI and a slugging percentage fo 1.067. On defense she posted six assists.

Johnston helped lead the Panthers at the OVC men's basketball tournament as the OVC Freshman of the Year averaged 16.5 points per game. He shot 55.6 percent from the field and 60 percent from 3-point range as EIU won its first OVC Tournament game since 2010. He added ten assists and four steals in two games.
