Matt Wivinis from baseball and Norvel Mohammed from men's track have been named the Back To Health EIU student-athletes of the week.

Wivinis pitched EIU to its first win of the season as the Kansas State transfer pitched 7.2 innings on Saturday at Tennessee Tech.  He allowed two unearned runs while striking out four and scattering seven hits.  Wivinis has the best ERA of EIU's starting pitchers at 4.67 heading into the week.

Mohammed had a pair of first place finishes and three EIU top ten times at the Big Blue Classic.  He won the 100m dash with a time of 10.54 which ranks 10th on the EIU career list.  He won the 200m with a time of 20.60 which is second fastest in school history.  He ran the anchor leg on the 4x100 relay that was second with time of 40.53, sixth best in school history.
