Norvel Mohammed from men's track and Kylie Bennett from softball have been named the Back To Health EIU student-athletes of the week.

Mohammed had four first place finishes over the weekend at the IU Billy Hayes meet.  Mohammed won the 200m and 400m sprints with his 400m time ranking fourth best in school history.  Mohammed then ran on the 4x100 and 4x400 relay squads as both placed first.

Bennett had one of the biggest hits of the season as her double in the 10th inning on Sunday drove home the winning run as the Panthers took the weekend series against OVC Champion SIUE.  Earlier in the week Bennett hit a two-run homer in the Panthers midweek win over Southern Illinois.  EIU has won three of four heading into the OVC Tournament this week.
