Kristen Paris from women's track and April Markowski from softball have been named the Back To Health EIU student-athletes of the week.

Paris picked up a pair of first place finishes for the EIU women at the EIU Twilight.  Paris won the women's 1500m run with a time of 4:40.03.  Paris ranks 7th in the OVC this season in the 1500m as the Panthers head to the OVC Championships May15-16.  Paris ran the third leg on the 4x400 team that placed first with a time of 3:48.32.  

Markowski was named to the All-OVC Tournament team after hitting .462 during three games.  She had six hits with a double, triple and home run to her credit.  She scored twice and had three RBI.  Markowski finished the season second on the squad with a .349 average and led EIU with 11 stolen bases.
