Kayla Nesbitt from volleyball and Tyler Oliver from men's soccer have been named the Back To Health EIU student-athletes of the week.  Both athletes helped first year EIU head coaches pick up wins over the weekend with their respective sports.

Nesbitt was named the MVP of the IPFW Volleyball Tournament after leading the Panthers to the title for first year head coach Sam Wolinski.  Nesbitt hit .302 for the weekend with double figure kills in all three matches.  Nesbitt finished the weekend with 34 kills, eight digs and three blocks.

Oliver evened the game and provided the goal ahead assist on Sunday as the Panthers beat Lipscomb for first year coach Kiki Lara's first career win.  Oliver scored his goal just under four minutes into the second half.  Two minutes later he connected with his brother Justin Oliver for what proved to be the game winner.
