Devin Church from football and Hannah Miller from women's soccer have been named the Back To Health EIU student-athletes of the week.

Church helped the Panthers nearly upset No. 5 Illinois State on Saturday night as the junior finished with 248 all-purpose yards. On the ground Church rushed for 109 yards with one touchdown. He added 105 yards on kick returns and 34 yards receiving. Church currently ranks third in the nation in all purpose yards at 193.3 yards per game.

Miller scored two of the Panthers four goals on Sunday as EIU picked up a senior day win over Chicago State. Miller scored in the first half to tie the match at 1-1. She then scored three minutes into the second half for what proved to be the game winner. Miller had 11 shots on the day with two other scoring chances hitting the post and cross bar.
