Addison Bounds from football and Maddie Lyon from women's soccer have been named the Back To Health EIU student-athletes of the week.

Bounds helped the Panther football team improve to 2-0 in the Ohio Valley Conference with a career day receiving. Bounds hauled in five passes for 107 yards including two touchdowns in the second half. Bounds second touchdown covered 65 yards which is the Panthers biggest play from scrimmage this year and pushed EIU's lead to 27-7 at the time.

Lyon was solid in net all weekend for the Panthers as they posted a 1-1 OVC record. On Friday she made five saves against the first place team in the conference helping EIU post a 1-0 shutout against Tennessee Tech. On Sunday she turned away eight shots with the only goal coming on a penalty kick just over three minutes into the second overtime period.
